To keep moving costs down, plan ahead and book your movers early. Declutter before the move to reduce the volume of items. Move during off-peak times (mid-week, mid-month) and get multiple quotes to compare pricing.

While friends and family can help reduce costs, professional movers offer insurance, experience, and proper equipment. A hybrid approach — using pros for heavy items and friends for boxes — can be a good compromise.

Tipping is not required but is appreciated. A common guideline is $20–$50 per mover for a standard move, depending on the complexity and quality of service.

Professional movers carry liability coverage, but it may not cover full replacement value. We recommend checking your homeowner's or renter's insurance policy and considering additional moving insurance for high-value items.

We are not able to transport pets. We recommend arranging separate pet transport or having a friend or family member care for them on moving day to reduce stress for your animals.

For safety and insurance reasons, passengers are not permitted to ride in the moving truck. You are welcome to follow the truck in your own vehicle.

It is generally not recommended. Closing can be delayed and moving on the same day adds unnecessary stress. We suggest scheduling your move for the day after closing when possible.

Made a phone call on Wednesday. Set up a meeting with the owner to see how much it would cost me to move a two bedroom two bathroom apartment with outside furniture as well. They charge by the hour and the work was actually pretty great. They were fantastic in wrapping everything. Three guys came and did the job. I did not even have to lift a finger. It was incredible.
